How September fished

September offered a dynamic fishing experience here in Key Largo. The early part of the month provided consistent opportunities, with anglers working to find their targets. As the days progressed, the activity picked up, and the latter half of the month proved to be the stronger run. It was a time when the effort put in by our anglers was rewarded with some excellent days on the water.

Throughout the month, we encountered a pleasing variety of species, keeping the fishing interesting. Anglers had the chance to experience different types of action, from steady bites to more challenging pursuits. The mix of conditions meant that each outing presented its own unique set of circumstances, and adapting to them was key to a successful day. The numbers landed reflected the varied nature of the fishing we saw.
