Mahi Mahi Fishing in Key Largo

Also known as Dorado or Dolphinfish, Mahi Mahi are one of the most sought-after game fish in the Florida Keys. They are incredibly fast swimmers and put up a spectacular fight, often leaping out of the water when hooked. Their diet consists of smaller fish and squid, making them aggressive feeders. We often find them in small pods, so when you hook one, there's a good chance there are more nearby. Targeting them involves trolling offshore waters, looking for signs of baitfish or floating debris where they like to congregate.
